#waybackwednesday - Companions

Several years ago a dental office hired me to hike around our little West Michigan town and photograph it to display as wall art for their practice. Part of this job included me recruiting a staff members' daughter and her dog for a sunrise photoshoot.

This session continues to be one of my favorites and I have such an emotional response everytime I see these photos. There is something so beautiful and fascinating about the relationships we have with our pets. I remember reading years ago that just petting our animals instantaneously lowers our blood pressure!
