You know what I love? Adventurous Newlyweds! And that is exactly what Weston and Andria are! After a few conversations with me they decided to spend their honeymoon in Ireland and meet up for a Mr. & Mrs. photoshoot! I met them at the bus stop in beautiful Connemara and they hopped in the car with me as we headed back to our adorable cottage rental. The next day we scouted out a few location options and found some amazing spots. Our evening photoshoot would be in their wedding outfits and then our sunrise session would be the following morning and in something less formal.
The castle location was about a 20 minute hike downhill, dodging cow-pies and trying to avoid twisting ankles but we reached it and it was worth every little bit to get there. Andria and Weston were up for anything!
The weather was perfect. The sunset was perfect. Our sunset location was just off Sky Road which was absolutely the right name for it!
The sun set at about 10 pm and unfortunately the sunrise happened at about 4:30 am! So the next morning photoshoot came WAY too quickly, but as per usual, Wes and Andria just rolled with it!

If I could redo my honeymoon with my husband I would hire a professional photographer for a few fun and epic photoshoots. It such a nice and laid-back way to make canvas-worthy images from your special time before you get back to the hectic pace of the real world!
And I’m pretty sure that Andria and Weston are the only ones out of their friends and family who can say that they had a professional photographer follow them around on their honeymoon in Ireland!
I feel so thankful and fortunate that this beautiful couple took a chance on me!!
