It's almost Senior Session Season and I am pumped! I have my Senior Models selected and preparing for our shoot has been a blast!
If you have been thinking about investing in Senior Photography but still need convincing, here are 5 reasons to go ahead and do it already! :)
1. Do it for your mom. She wants you to. As you fly the coupe she wants to hang you on her wall next to her box of Kleenex and every time she walks past she will look at your beautiful portrait and say "What?! Why???? She was a baby just yesterday! How can this be true?" And then she'll go make a batch of cookies and mail them to you.
2. Do it for you. The only other time you get to be the center of attention like this is on your Wedding Day. You deserve this because you have worked hard to get where you are at!
3. Do it for the adventure. You will get to see parts of your town that you might not know about! Photographers know all of the nooks and crannies because they are always scouting out new locations!
4. Do it for fun. Your senior session should be fun. Traipsing around town while your photographer makes a fool of herself can be a really great alternative to channel surfing while lounging in your sweatpants at home . And it is an American rite of passage! Even Canadians rarely do Senior Portraits!
5. Do it for the memories. Someday you will hold one of these photos in your hands and remember this time in your life as monumental. Plus you can say things like "Oh, sweet naive Johnny. If you only knew back then what you know now!" Just do it. Because this is a time in your life that IS monumental. You are casting off your childhood. And it should be celebrated. And it should be remembered.
