The Sniders // Family Session

I don't often blog family sessions but it isn't for lack of having them! The Snider's session is one of my favorite family sessions to date. I know what you are experiencing as parent of young children. The questions that swirl around in your head all day. Questions like: How many days can I actually go without showering before the neighbors notice? Will I completely go insane if I have to put another pair of shoes on somebody? Will I ever feel like a human being again? How can I feel this all-consuming love for such a tiny little energy-sucking emotional manipulator in diapers??

When can I hold her again? How is it possible to love somebody this much?!

And while often this love feels unrequited (as I go for a kiss and she slaps me in the forehead) I still die to my own selfishness daily because my love for them is so fierce.

As a parent myself, I crave images the convey the love I feel for my daughters. When I capture that for my clients I feel like crying. Every. Single Time.

At any given moment families with young children are most likely not hanging out in wildflower fields, showered and dressed top-notch. But when they are, I sure as heck photograph them!
